ANZLTR is the Australian & New Zealand Liver Transplant Registry
ANZLTR is a collaboration of the liver transplant units in Australia and New Zealand and contains de-identified data on all liver transplants performed in Australia and New Zealand since establishment of first unit in 1985.
An annual report is produced and contains information on numbers of transplants performed, waiting list flows and patient and graft outcomes.
The ANZLTR is funded by the Australian Organ and Tissue Authority [AOTA]
The purpose of the Australia & New Zealand Liver Transplant Registry is to collect, collate and analyse data on the outcomes of treatment of patients with acute or end stage liver failure.
The data is analysed to report on patients outcomes of all patients listed for liver transplantation. Data is de-identified and includes demographics, liver diseases, patient survival, graft outcomes type of liver graft, causes of patient death, deceased donor and living donor information, waiting list activity and cancer after transplantation information.
